What makes Atelier Lumiele candles different?

Our candles are crafted in small batches using natural wax blends, premium fragrance oils, and bespoke vessels made from textured cement or gypsum. Each piece is finished with delicate artistic touches, such as hand-applied gold leaf, giving every candle a refined, modern aesthetic.

What type of wax do you use?

We use natural wax blends chosen for their clean, even burn and excellent scent diffusion. This ensures a healthier candle experience with minimal soot.

How long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies by size, but our candles typically last between 35 and 55 hours when cared for properly. See our Candle Care section for tips to maximize longevity.

Are your fragrances safe and non-toxic?

Yes. Our fragrance oils are sourced from reputable suppliers and are rigorously tested. They are free from phthalates and harmful additives and meet international safety standards.

Do the vessels get hot?

Our cement and gypsum vessels remain relatively cool during burning, but we always recommend placing candles on a heat-resistant surface and avoiding direct handling while lit.

Can I reuse the candle vessel?

Absolutely. Once your candle is finished, the vessel can be repurposed as a decorative piece, a small planter, or a storage bowl. Simply clean out any remaining wax with warm water.

How do I care for my candle?

  • Trim the wick to 5–6 mm before each burn
  • Allow the first burn to create a full melt pool
  • Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time
  • Keep away from drafts
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended

 How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1–3 business days, and delivery typically takes 2–7 days, depending on the destination. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

What if my candle arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours with your order number and photos. We will replace the item or issue store credit.

Do you accept returns or refunds?

We accept returns only in cases of product damage or defects.

Because candles are consumable and handcrafted, we do not accept returns for scent preferences or used items.

Can I order candles as gifts?

Yes, you can select the gift option at checkout. If you’d like a custom note included, simply add it in the message section.
